About Us

Vision of

• Foster the application of experiential education in scouting programme;
• Enable youth a balanced development in terms of physical, mental and spiritual, so that they will become good citizens who are beneficial to society;
• Lift up the quality of applying experiential education in youth works;
• Train up quality experiential educators to lead and to serve in youth works.

Mission of

We are dedicated to become an important pioneer of experiential education in local culture. We strive to promote the application of experiential education in youth uniform groups, and to improve the quality and performance of experiential education in youth works.

Goals of

• Encourage more scout groups and units to apply experiential education in their scouting programme, and foster their knowledge and ability in conduct experiential educational programme for young people;
• Assist scout groups and units lifting up the application standard of experiential education in scouting programme.
• Provide opportunities for initiated scouters, youth workers and experiential educators to practice what they have learnt from courses as a contribution to society.

Guiding Principles of

• 我們注重參加者的身心精神靈性成長，是以我們的著眼點並不在於活動性質本身，而是透過活動如何促進參加者獲得個人內在轉化(internal transformation) 。
• 我們注重培訓能否帶出有價值的學習效果。是以各項培訓活動均為配合轉化促導( facilitation)而設計，而非以解說總結來配合活動；培訓以促進參加者獲得內在轉化為主軸，活動為輔。
• 我們認同本地多位資深歷奇輔導工作者如李德誠先生、麥淑華小姐等所提倡的歷奇輔導核心理念、最終目標和生命歷奇的全人成長概念，在重視個人生活實踐、提升自我認識和生命情操的同時，亦著重個人與社會的連結，強調個人的社會責任。
• 我們尊重每一位參加者的能力差異和性格特質分野，因此我們在設計培訓活動上以人為本，視乎每位參加者的需要而設計適合、人性化的活動。

Values of

• Start from Scouting, End for Scouting – 服務主要針對旅團單位的需要而設，並在旅團單位邀請我們的情況下才會提供服務。提供服務的最終目的，是秉承童軍運動的宗旨，培育青少年成為良好公民，也培育更多領袖接觸和掌握體驗教育在童軍活動中的應用。
• Not for Profit – 我們以義務服務原則為社會貢獻。我們的成員都是義工。
• Resources Allocation based on Priorities – 我們會優先為缺乏資源的旅團單位提供服務。
• Human-based – 我們重視體驗教育的人性化概念，並不主張公式操練活動、或為了活動而活動；我們是從事成長啟導和生命轉化的工作者，而非歷奇活動操作員。
• Put an Emphasize on Society Connection – 坊間有某一類培訓主張以個人為中心，只著重個人的提升而忽略與社會的連繫；體驗教育與童軍運動的最終目標均為培育青少年成為良好公民，如果忽略與社會的連繫，個人的發展塑造便會變得不完整，因此我們的培訓強調與社會的連結。
• Respect for Differences – 沒有兩個人是一樣的，因此沒有兩個人的行為能力都是一樣的；再者，每個行為的背後都有其正面的動機，因此每一位參加者的每一個行為表現，我們都必須同樣予以尊重。每一位參加者有自由選擇參與活動的權利(Challenge by Choice)，但亦同時要為自己的行為負責任，並尊重他人同時擁有參與每一項活動的權利。
• Safety and Learning Insights Come First – 活動安全是我們從事體驗教育工作的重要考慮因素，除了重視參加者在身體上的安全外，更加要顧及參加者在心靈上的安全。我們並不主張追求活動刺激度的無止境提升，更重要的是，活動本身能否在身心安全的環境下促進參加者獲得個人啟發學習，是以活動的鋪排是為配合轉化促導而設計的工具手段，而非公式化地總結體驗學習。
